A practical perspective

From network decisions to repeatable delivery.

Cloud infrastructure needs more than a working connection. Teams need to understand traffic paths, plan for failures, and make changes through a repeatable process.

Veyspan Systems brings architecture and implementation together, with a focus on cloud connectivity, infrastructure reviews, and automation. Start with a defined problem, agree the scope, and work toward a clear handover.

Understand the risks before a migration or major infrastructure change.

Connect cloud and on-premises environments with a documented design.

Replace repeated manual setup with reusable infrastructure code.

01 / Services

Choose the work you need to move forward.

Each engagement starts with agreed objectives, deliverables, and boundaries. The scope can be a focused review, a defined implementation, or ongoing architecture support.

01

Cloud Architecture Reviews

Understand the design. Prioritize the next changes.

Scope & deliverables

An independent review of a defined cloud workload or infrastructure environment to identify risks and prioritize improvements. The agreed scope can cover networking, reliability, security controls, operations, performance, and cost. Relevant Well-Architected guidance provides a basis for practical recommendations.

Typical deliverables

  • A current-state architecture summary and dependency map.
  • Findings with evidence, impact, and agreed priorities.
  • Recommended changes, tradeoffs, and a sequenced improvement backlog.
  • A walkthrough with your technical stakeholders.

Good fit

Before a migration, after rapid growth, or when an existing design needs an independent check.

The review scope and applicable framework areas are agreed in advance.

02

Hybrid & Cloud Connectivity

Connect environments with a design your team can operate.

Scope & deliverables

Plan, review, or implement connectivity between cloud networks, on-premises environments, and private services. Work can cover VPNs, dedicated connectivity, transit routing, IP addressing, DNS, segmentation, and failover design.

Typical deliverables

  • Connectivity diagrams and documented traffic paths.
  • Routing, addressing, DNS, and segmentation decisions.
  • Configuration or infrastructure code for the agreed implementation.
  • Validation results and, for implementation work, a change and rollback plan and an operating runbook.

Good fit

A new cloud connection, an expanding network, or an existing connectivity problem that needs structured investigation.

Carrier dependencies, access, maintenance windows, and production changes are agreed before implementation.

03

Infrastructure as Code & Factories

Turn repeated infrastructure work into a reusable process.

Scope & deliverables

Create or improve infrastructure as code with Terraform and, for Azure, Bicep. Build reusable modules and deployment workflows for recurring network and infrastructure patterns.

An infrastructure factory brings those pieces together: a defined set of inputs, reviewed templates, validation, and a documented path to provision another environment consistently.

Typical deliverables

  • Reusable modules or templates for the agreed infrastructure pattern.
  • Example configurations and documented inputs, outputs, and dependencies.
  • Validation checks and a reviewed deployment workflow.
  • Guidance for state, configuration changes, and ongoing maintenance.

Good fit

Teams repeating the same setup across environments, relying on manual changes, or inheriting infrastructure code that is difficult to maintain.

Start with a defined pattern or environment. Expand the factory around proven requirements.

04

Fractional Architecture Support

Keep important infrastructure decisions moving.

Scope & deliverables

Part-time architecture support for cloud and infrastructure teams that need technical direction alongside delivery. Work through network designs, infrastructure standards, implementation questions, and an agreed improvement backlog.

Typical deliverables

  • Scheduled design and implementation reviews.
  • Architecture decision records and updated technical diagrams.
  • A prioritized backlog with dependencies and next steps.
  • Scoped pairing, technical guidance, and handover documentation.

Good fit

A team that needs recurring architecture input across a defined initiative.

The cadence, availability, responsibilities, and scope are agreed for each engagement.

02 / Platforms

Work with the cloud you have.

The starting point is your environment, constraints, and operating model. A project can focus on one cloud or the connections between several.

01

Azure

Azure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, virtual networks, routing, private connectivity, and infrastructure automation with Terraform or Bicep.

02

AWS

Amazon VPC, AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Site-to-Site VPN, hybrid-connectivity patterns, routing, and infrastructure automation with Terraform.

03

Google Cloud

VPC networking, Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, routing, and infrastructure automation with Terraform.

Across the stack

IP addressing · BGP and routing · DNS · Segmentation · Resilience · Infrastructure as code · Deployment workflows · Operational documentation

Azure networking is a core area of focus. Platform coverage and implementation responsibilities are agreed for each project.

03 / How it works

A clear scope. Work you can take forward.

  1. 01

    Understand the problem

Start with the environment, the change you need, the constraints, and what a useful outcome looks like.

  2. 02

    Agree the work

Define the deliverables, access requirements, responsibilities, validation approach, and schedule before delivery begins.

  3. 03

    Review, design, or implement

Work through the agreed scope, document decisions, and review findings or changes with the people who own the environment.

  4. 04

    Hand over clearly

Review the diagrams, code, findings, and runbooks included in the engagement. Record remaining risks and recommended next steps.

About the practice

Architecture that stays close to implementation.

Veyspan Systems is an independent cloud networking and infrastructure automation practice. The work connects architectural decisions with the detail needed to implement and maintain them: routes, dependencies, infrastructure code, validation, and documentation.

Engagements are designed around a defined need and a usable handover to the client's team.

04 / FAQ

Before we
connect.

A useful first conversation starts with a little context.

Do you only work with Azure?

No. Engagements can involve Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or connectivity between cloud and on-premises environments. Azure networking is a core area of focus. The platform services and delivery scope are confirmed before an engagement begins.

Can you review or improve an existing environment?

Yes. A project can start with the architecture, configuration, and infrastructure code already in place. The first step is to understand the current behavior, dependencies, and risks, then agree what needs to change.

Can you work alongside an existing team?

Yes. An engagement can support your internal engineers, an existing service provider, or both. Responsibilities and coordination points are agreed as part of the scope.

Will you need access to the environment?

Some reviews can begin with documentation and a discussion. If access is needed, the permissions, duration, and method are agreed before work starts. Changes require an agreed plan and authorization.

What does a Well-Architected review include?

The review uses relevant guidance from the Azure Well-Architected Framework, AWS Well-Architected Framework, or Google Cloud Well-Architected Framework. Coverage depends on the agreed workload, infrastructure scope, and available evidence. Deliverables include findings, tradeoffs, and prioritized recommendations. This is an independent architecture assessment, not a certification or compliance audit.

What do you mean by an infrastructure factory?

A repeatable way to provision a defined infrastructure pattern. It combines reusable code, environment-specific inputs, validation, and a documented deployment process. The scope might be a standard network environment or a wider set of infrastructure components.

Can the work include implementation?

Yes. Engagements can cover review and design, hands-on implementation, or support for your team's delivery. Access, change approvals, testing, and responsibilities are agreed as part of the scope.

How is fractional support structured?

Around an agreed initiative, set of priorities, and working cadence. The engagement defines the available time, deliverables, communication arrangements, and boundaries. It is scheduled architecture support, rather than a managed operations or on-call service.

How are projects priced and scheduled?

After the scope, dependencies, and deliverables are understood. Share the problem and any relevant timing constraints so the engagement can be assessed before a proposal is prepared.

What should I include in an inquiry?

A short description of the problem, the cloud platforms involved, the help you need, and any timing constraints. Keep the initial inquiry high level. Do not include passwords, access keys, or confidential configuration details.

05 / Start a conversation

What needs to connect, improve, or become repeatable?
